Kati began her career as a 2200 hour massage therapist in 2010 at the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in New Brunswick, focusing on Sports Therapy and Rehabilitative Treatment.
While gaining experience and developing her skills clinically, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. There she studied the science of movement to broaden her knowledge of the body and its functions, focusing on exercise physiology and functional movement chains.
At the end of her undergraduate studies, Kati was introduced to Osteopathy on a working holiday in New Zealand while exploring new directions that would offer better manual treatment methods.
As she learned more about the profession and its treatment principles, she quickly became enthralled by the possibilities and potential it brought to her hands. The potential of correcting and treating all the structures of the body with one pair of hands became the new drive of her career.
Since graduating from an intensive manual osteopathic program in 2015 at the National Manual Osteopathic College in Alberta, Canada, she's operated a successful practice as a Manual Osteopath and Registered Massage Therapist in Edmonton, Alberta, with a strong focus on functional and rehabilitative manual treatment, pain management and education!
